A busboy at a soulless food conglomerate discovers a strange mushroom buried in the trash, unlocking the powers of Mother Nature and pulling him into a violent clash between corporate greed and the raw force of nature.
The official campaign video for “The Busboy”, a darkly comedic martial arts satire about the harsh realities of service industry life: Long hours, low wages, and thankless work. Made by and for those who’ve lived it, the film gives voice to the overlooked while offering a laugh. Thanks to the support of our community, we successfully raised over $20,000 to bring it to life.

The original sketch that started it all. When a lowly busboy heads out to take out the trash, he stumbles into a man on the run from a violent and mysterious loan shark. What begins as a routine shift, quickly turns violent as the busboy steps in and fists start flying.
Years later, the busboy, now working for a mysterious client, sets out to track down the elusive man in black, searching for answers about his past and closure from their first brutal encounter.
